H.K.W.H.T.A. – Barry Black, Chaplain of the United States Senate and Adventist pastor

“In heaven I’d like to thank the person who gave an evangelistic handbill to my mother when she was pregnant with me. It made a huge difference in what kind of home I was raised in and in what direction my life took.”

– Barry Black

Barry’s mother, a single parent, attended the meetings and as she was being baptized she prayed that God would do something special for her unborn son. Barry went on to be a student, missionary, district pastor, evangelist, counselor, husband, father, Chief of Chaplains for the US Navy and Chaplain of the US Senate. Read his story at http://www.adventistreview.org/2000-1545/story1.html It all started with someone handing a pregnant single mother a handbill invitation to some evangelistic meetings. He Knows What He’s Talking About.
