He was concerned with the emphasis on Sabbath morning activities only, with a neglect by pastors and church leaders of visitation, small groups, church social activities, Pathfinders, Youth groups, and Bible studies. As a result, many churches were headed for extinction unless pastors and church leaders began investing themselves in these other church life activities.
