Why Not Try This? …Begin Families of Hope in Your Community

Our society and nation are only as strong as our families. What can we do to strengthen families, our own and those in our community?

Here are four video clips that highlight how to begin or strengthen the four ingredients of Families of Hope-

Family Worship. Gathering with family regularly to worship the Lord through Bible study, prayer and a variety of activities. “…But as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.” Joshua 24:15.

Family Group. Getting together with others to encourage each other. “And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works, not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching.” Hebrews 10:24-25.

Family Outreach. Sharing good news about Jesus’s love and His soon return with others. “Walk in wisdom towards those who are outside, redeeming the time. Let your speech always be with grace, seasoned with salt, that you may know how you ought to answer each other.” Colossians 4: 5-6.

Family Hope. Remembering that soon Jesus will return and make all things right. “Looking for the blessed hope and glorius appearing of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ.” Titus 2:13.
