Nothing like a room crowded with young adults eager to learn how to share the Adventist message! GYC (Generation. Youth. Christ.) Is an Adventist Young Adult Organization led by volunteer young adults with the purpose of getting young people more deeply involved in Bible study and sharing their faith where they live and around the world. This year I was invited to be a seminar speaker at their convention December 28 – January 2 in Houston.
Why does God’s work go so slowly?
Jesus identifies where the shortage is. It isn’t money, buildings, institutions, materials or paid employees. It’s workers. Willing workers for Jesus. He also tell us what to do about it.
“After these things the Lord appointed seventy others also, and sent them two by two before His face into every city and place where He Himself was about to go. Then He said to them, “The harvest truly is great, but the laborers are few; therefore pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest. Go your way; behold, I send you out as lambs among wolves.” Luke 10:1-3.
When I was asked to present six seminars during GYC 2018 I was impressed during prayer preparation to focus on this reality.
Here are the seminars I presented and links to a PowerPoint and AudioVerse recordings.
